This year me and the boyfriend kept it very low key, we just had a few close friends over for dinner and afterwards we just sat around and talked, nobody felt like going out in search of a somewhat decent party.
To be honest, I didn't mind at all. I must be getting old...

Our New years eve celebrations are usually very quiet, with us and the kidlets. This year we were on our way home from our Christmas holiday (nearly 50 hours of driving. Ick!) and we stopped over at my mother in laws property in the middle of nowhere. We all spent the night at a rodeo, was lots of fun for the kiddos.
Wow Amanda, fifty hours of driving, I already get bored after two! What an original New Year you had though, spending it at a rodeo!
