You may remember the word trompe l'oeil from your art classes. And it might conjure up the image of wall paintings trying to look real but never quite succeeding in this attempt. But forget those stuffy paintings or their contemporary Las Vegas equivalents. Because believe it or not, trompe l'oeils can look quite sleek and even realistic.
