Etsy favs: Skinny Laminx

Illustrator Heather Moore aka Skinny laMinx always comes up with the most suprising pattern designs. My current favourite is the 'I wish we had IKEA' teatowel, which features her IKEA wishlist.








Heather also runs her own blog with tonnes of inspiration and info on her work. It's definitely worth a visit!

The great outdoors

When the weather is nice there's nothing better than eating outdoors, well if the wasps behave that is. Although there's always the option of a good barbecue, how great would it be to have an outdoors kitchen.

I fell head over heels for these outdoors kitchens found on Marie Claire Maison. They are quite primitive – they remind me of camping in the South of France– but utterly gorgeous. Instant holiday feel in your own backyard.

Summer blues

It seems that the whole of blogland slows down during the summer, why would you spend time behind your computer when you can enjoy the sunshine outside? A feeling I can totally relate to.

Acapulco calling

Going through my Flickr contacts, I came across a great find by Kaylovesvintage. She's the proud owner of a vintage Acapulco rocking chair from the 1950's.



I share a love for wire chairs so I'm feeling very envious.

I'll just have to consolidate myself with some pictures and with the good news that the Acapulco chair has been reissued...
