Etsy favs: KG + AB

I realised that lately, shame on me, I had been neglecting one of my favourite sites, Etsy. So I hopped right over and came, once again, to the conclusion that there are just so much talented people on there. So I'm going to start my little discontinued post series called "Etsy favs" back up again.

And first up is KG + AB. These Brooklyn designers make the most lovely simple yet fun porcelain figurines. I mean how cute are those hugging bears? And who wouldn't want a cupcake container?

P.S: I would love to know your favourite Etsy shops, so comment away!

Etsy favs: Kup Kup Land

I'm a bit of a daydreamer, so the wonderful imaginary world of Kup Kup land is just my cup of tea.

Etsy favs: Toonpoot

I hope you don't mind a bit of promotion, I have a very good excuse, it's for my beloved boyfriend.

He started painting recently under the name Toonpoot. And ever since I've been nagging him to open up an Etsy shop. He still has his doubts but decided to give it a try and start off with a limited edition print.

So what do you think? Was I wrong to force him onto Etsy or would you buy this?

(Any comments/opinions on his paintings would also be very appreciated. He's still a bit insecure about his work...)

Etsy favs: lab partners

One of my favorite illustrator duos are Lab Partners. I love there vintage style illustrations and after purchasing a print of them I can also tell that they are the friendliest sellers (I even received an additional print to my purchase!)

While looking through my Etsy favs the other day, I noticed that they now also sell paintings. I have always had a weak spot for wooden canvases so these are definitely going onto my Christmas wish list!

Etsy favs: Michael Arras

As most people, my interior consists mainly out of Ikea furniture. Nothing wrong with that, just as long as you combine them with that one of a kind piece.

Michael Arras makes such unique furniture and at an affordable price. His designs are simply beautiful.

Etsy favs: Sara Norris

Photography is often not only a window on the world but also one into the private world of the photographer.

Sara Norris guides us through her daily life by her lovely delicate images, proving that beauty is indeed everywhere.

Etsy favs: Skinny Laminx

Illustrator Heather Moore aka Skinny laMinx always comes up with the most suprising pattern designs. My current favourite is the 'I wish we had IKEA' teatowel, which features her IKEA wishlist.

Heather also runs her own blog with tonnes of inspiration and info on her work. It's definitely worth a visit!

Etsy Favs: Rob Ryan

Let me start off this post by saying that I absolutely worship Rob Ryan and the ground he walks on. To me he's one of the most talented illustrators out there at the moment. I mean if you get to work for Vogue, you must be doing something right...

Rob has his own little shop in London but lucky for us non UK residents, he also sells his work through Etsy.

His screenprints are a bit pricey but luckily his tiles are a bit more affordable.

Etsy Favs: JennSki

I admit, I'm a retro chick. That's why I instantly fell in love with JennSki's giclee prints.

I love her basic, almost naive, illustration style and how it stands out from the rest thanks to her use of delicate details and patterns.

And she always get the colours exactly right...

Etsy Favs: Rabbitsmoon

It seems that my mother instinct is lurking, lately I seem to be more and more drawn to children's toys.

That's why I bookmarked Rabbitsmoon's shop. She sells lovely colourful handcrafted toys from her Brooklyn based studio. All items are one of a kind, so your toddler doesn't have to face embarrassment by showing up at the playground with the same cuddle as his friends.

Even if your life is still childfree, this Etsy store is worth a visit, there are some lovely pincushions for sale too.

Etsy favs: Eclectic Eccentricity

I'm a big fan of vintage inspired jewelery so now wonder Eclectic Eccentricity is on Favorite Sellers list. Her work is beautiful and at the same time has that little humorous spark that differentiates it.
